Poker Stars India Cash Games
Active Tables (6-Handed): |
|||
NL Hold'em | ₹1/₹2 - ₹50/₹100 |
PokerStars.IN does not offer either full table or heads-up cash games, and for 6-handed cash games only offers No Limit Hold'em. However, they do offer a decent range of stakes, with multiple active tables for 6-max NLH.
If you like playing cash game poker online and reside in India, you are far better off playing on the Winning Poker Network, which offers much lower rake, better rewards, and more activity (full table, 6-handed, and heads-up).

Poker Stars India charges significantly higher rake than PokerStars. Not only do they charge a higher percentage (e.g. 5.15% instead of 4.50% for lower stakes), but they also have a higher cap.
PokerStars India Tournaments
PokerStars.IN tournament fees are competitive, with the site regularly charging 9.9%. However, unlike most online poker sites, the percentage does not decrease for larger buy-in events. That is, they always charge 9.9%, whereas most online poker sites start reducing the percentage for tournaments that cost $100 or more to enter. However, since PokerStars India rarely offer tournaments above ₹5,000 (~$71), this really isn't an issue.

Most tournaments get anywhere from 50 to 150 entries, making PokerStars.IN a great option for reducing your tournament bankroll variance. However, they typically only offer between 4 and 6 tournaments each hour.
