Online Poker Room Reviews

Click on the poker site names (at the bottom of each network summary in the table above) to read our comprehensive online poker sites reviews. Each of our poker room reviews include a detailed analysis of the site's loyalty rewards program, sign-up bonus, freerolls, and all other promotions.

Online Poker Room Software

All of the sites on the same network use the same poker room software. The differences between sites on the same network are essentially cosmetic, allowing different site operators to brand their site. Since the underlying software is the same, different sites on the same online poker network are often referred to as "poker skins".

Online Poker Traffic

Ranking the biggest online poker sites by traffic can be tricky because not all online poker networks use the same criteria:

  • Some networks include play money players
  • Some networks include casino players

While overall traffic is often an important consideration when selecting an online poker site, you should really only be concerned with the number of players for the games and stakes you are most interested in. For example, PokerStars are by far the largest online poker site. However, if you enjoy playing 6-handed No Limit Hold'em for stakes greater than $5/$10, you will find more action on both the 888 Poker Network, and the Microgaming Poker Network.
