Full Tilt Poker Network

Get the Full Tilt poker mobile app to play Full Tilt poker on iPad or iPhone!

Full Tilt is the second largest online poker site in the world. Following the shutdown of the big three online poker sites by the US Department of Justice, Full Tilt was eventually purchased by PokerStars. However, PokerStars continues to operate Full Tilt poker as a separate entity. That is, players on each site play on separate networks, each with unique sign-up bonus offers, loyalty rewards, etc. However, players with an account on PokerStars can transfer funds to their Full Tilt account, and vice versa. Like PokerStars, Full Tilt poker is one of the few online poker rooms that is not a network of many different sites. That is, all of your opponents are also playing on Full Tilt software.

Software quality is extremely high, with clean graphics and excellent navigation, with many filter options to help you find exactly the games you are looking for. Advance action buttons and smooth animations make for a fast game, and multi-table play is well supported. FullTilt offers poker software for mac, as well as a Full Tilt iPhone app (which allows you to play Full Tilt poker on iPad or iPhone). As of yet, there is no Full Tilt poker for android.

Full Tilt Cash Games

Full Tilt offers a wide variety of poker cash games. However, if you prefer to play on a full table, only no limit hold'em sees regular activity.

Players who enjoy playing on short-handed tables have significantly more games to choose from, including no limit hold'em, fixed limit holdem, pot limit omaha, pot limit omaha hi/lo, and no limit omaha hi/lo. Full Tilt pioneered RUSH poker, so there is always plenty of activity on these tables, although again, only for short-handed play.

Full Tilt also offers the greatest selection of games for heads-up play, including 5-card draw, 2-7 triple draw, and many more.

The rake structure at Full Tilt is competitive for all stakes, and for full table and short-handed games, they offer the best rake online for stakes of $10/$20 and greater. Their heads-up rake is the best available online for stakes of ¢25/¢50 and up.

Full Tilt Tournaments

Full Tilt offers plenty of poker tournaments online, and their fees are amongst the lowest available. They even offer plenty of satellites with a buy-in of <¢10, for which they do not charge any fee!

Most of the tournaments offered are no limit holdem, but there are also plenty of omaha and omaha hi/lo tournaments as well as some stud and draw. There are typically a couple hundred entries in each tournament, which is a good number since it ensures a decent prize pool without introducing huge variation in your results. That is, you do not need to play tens of thousands of tournaments chasing one big score in order to show profit.

Full Tilt also offers RUSH tournaments, where you are instantly taken to a new table as soon as you fold your hand. Many sites have copied Full Tilt's revolutionary RUSH poker for cash games, but currently they are the only online poker site offering RUSH tournaments.

Full Tilt coordinates all breaks. All players receive a 5 minute break 5 minutes before each hour.

Full Tilt Poker for Mac

Full Tilt Sit & Go's

Despite having plenty of players and a competitive fee structure, Full Tilt has very little activity for sit and go poker tournaments.

Fees for heads-up sit & go's are especially competitive, which is probably why there is a far greater number of heads-up sit and go tournaments with regular activity. Full table and short-handed sit & go's only see activity for no limit hold'em. However, Full Tilt does have activity for a wide range of stakes for short-handed no limit hold'em, making it a great site for players who enjoy that specific game and table size.
